I want to be a lorry driver….

A great big thank you to one of our Dads who was inspired by our aspirations blog and brought us some model lorries and a bendy train from his work at a freight company (please correct me if I’m wrong!).  They linked in nicely with our passion with vehicles and added to our daily play with cars and trains.

The models have sparked lots of activities – we’ve talked about working with lorries, introduced new vocabulary such as cab/trailer/container/freight, we’ve given the small world farm animals rides ont he trucks, looked at ‘over’/’under’/’through’ as we’ve built roads and bridges with building blocks and we’ve even played with mathematics as we’ve folded the bendy train in half to make two trains!!!

Thanks Jason 🙂
