With the older children off school, we had plenty to talk about today! We’ve been busy making up our own words to describe things which was fun, making up animal names and even learning the Punjabi alphabet (the little ones can imitate the sounds too) 🙂
At Wolverhampton art gallery, we did pencil drawings of animals, impressed everyone with our ability to sound out the names of the animal drawings on show there, made peg-legged cows and junk model donkeys, and decided which animals we eat and which we don’t want to eat (prompting a conversation about vegetarianism)………….there really is something for everyone!
Away from the animal theme we really enjoyed dressing up in historical costumes and managed to decorate some chocolate eggs when we got home. A successful day 🙂
