My last post was mid-October and suddenly we’re in November 😀 Well I had a lovely end to October as I visited Budapest. One of the places of interest during my visit was The Children’s Railway…a railway run by children – how cool’s that??! Children aged 10-14 are trained and pass exams allowing them to carry out different jobs on the railway, working once every 15 days missing a day at school to work in a fantastic environment – imagine that on your cv! The kids were all extra keen to do the train signals and salute as the train departed 🙂
Budapest is a beautiful city and had plenty to do – a highly recommended trip. Don’t leave without experiencing the thermal baths…we spent a cold evening swimming outside which was definitely the highlight of the holiday.
