After returning from a week in Kefalonia, we were straight into our Summer activities. There were plenty of trips out including Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Northycote Farm, Walsall Arboretum, Wednesfield library, the Reitred Greyhound Trust and Bilston Craft Gallery.
The highlight of the week however was Cosford RAF Museum where we spent the day with some ‘massive’ aeroplanes, helicopters and tanks. We made paper aeroplanes and parachutes and dropped them from a great height, and pretended to be helicopters and planes whilst we ran up and down the grassy slopes. The kids marvelled at the size of the hangars and entertained themselves in the hands-on scientific fun corner. A great day out for any age, and a reminder of how far away the last holiday flight seems!! 😀
