Well, Summer is finally here and we’ve got a whole host of fun days out planned. But we didn’t disappoint with our last week of term time either! Here are a few snippets from another busy busy week…
We made an exciting discovery on Tuesday at Wickid Pets – following suggestions from the notice board at Netmums, we visited the ‘tiny’ pet shop only to find a secret zoo in their back garden!! Porcupines, monkeys, coatis, raccoons, alpacas, meerkats, vultures, arctic foxes and so on…all in Wolverhampton 😀 It’s safe to say it was money well spent and we’ve now experienced the smoothness of a snake’s skin and the softness of a skunk’s fur coat 🙂
And on Friday morning we had a Samba session at Walsall toy library. We got to wiggle our fingers, shake our tail feathers, bang some big Brazilian drums and make music with maracas – we left with a great feeling and spent the rest of the day buzzing! Thank you to the toy library for arranging these monthly taster sessions which are fab and compliment our other cultural and creative sessions.
